Teen hurt after crash southeast of Litchfield

LITCHFIELD -- An 18-year-old Litchfield teen was treated at Meeker Memorial Hospital for scalp lacerations sustained in a one-vehicle crash around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday near Litchfield.

According to a news release from Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin, hospital officials reported that the driver, Christopher Bradley Nuthak, had been taken to the hospital by a family member. The 2000 Mercury Sable he was driving left the roadway and struck a concrete culvert support near the intersection of 250th Street and County Road 1.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. The vehicle was a total loss.
