Teens sustain minor injuries in deer-related crash near Appleton, Minn.

APPLETON -- Two teenagers were taken to Appleton Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in a rollover crash caused by a deer around 10 p.m. Thursday southwest of Appleton.

According to the State Patrol, Logan Tillma, 16, of Milan, was driving a 2008 Pontiac on State Highway 119, swerved to miss a deer, overcorrected and went off the roadway. The car entered the west ditch and overturned.

Tillma and his passenger, Joseph Weeding, 15, of Appleton, were both wearing their seatbelts. Also responding were the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's office and the Appleton Ambulance.
