BENSON -- Yellow Medicine East took three points at singles and then No. 3 doubles for the deciding point to nudge Benson 4-3 in West Central South girls tennis on Thursday.

Jessica Erickson-Katie Scheffler got the win at 3-doubles for the Sting.

Abby Fragodt won at No. 1 singles for Benson (0-1, 5-5).

With an injury to 1-singles player Ashley Trulock, 1-doubles partners Ashley Forstrom and Becky Meyer moved up to the top two singles spots and each won decisively in straight sets for MACCRAY.

Caylee Hagemeyer at 4-singles also won in straight sets for the Wolverines.

Kelsey Bourne-Annie Winter at 1-doubles and Emily Satre-Leah Trulock at 2-doubles picked up the other points for the Wolverines.
