WILLMAR -- Thomas Harold Anderson, 63, of Willmar, died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar after a long battle with cancer.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Assembly of God Church and for one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Memorials are preferred to Meals on Wheels or Rice Hospice.
He was born Feb. 16, 1945, in Minneapolis to Harold and Gladys (Hansen) Anderson. He grew up in Richfield, Robbinsdale and Rochester where he graduated from John Marshall High School in 1963.
He married Judy L. Anderson on March 6, 1965, in Rochester. He worked in finance and banking industry for 40 years in Rochester, Olivia, Fairbault, St. Peter, and Owatonna. They moved to Willmar in 1980 and he worked at the Farmers State Bank of Raymond. He volunteered at Rice Hospital and Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by his wife; children: Greg (and Dawn) Anderson of Willow River, Stacey (and John) Cook of Lakeville; four grandchildren; siblings: James (and Julie) Anderson of Waterville, Susan (and David) Jennings of Chaska and Nancy Cole of Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
