Three arrested, charged after drug search at Olivia home

OLIVIA -- Three people were arrested Thursday and made their first court appearances Monday in Renville County District Court on drug-selling charges.


According to a news release from the Olivia Police Department, Rey David Guerrero, 26, and Jessica Elizabeth Munoz-Guerrero, 22, of Olivia, and Charles Manual Willert, 27, of Hector, were arrested after as search warrant was served Thursday on a home along Cedar Avenue in Olivia.

Olivia officers, and officers from the Renville County Sheriff's Office and CEE-VI Drug Task Force, served the warrant and discovered drugs, a gun, money and other evidence of narcotics trafficking.

Guerrero was charged with five felonies, including two first-degree drug sale charges and two fifth-degree drug sale and possession charges.

He also faces a felony charge for storing chemical substances in the presence of a child. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to make his next court appearance on Jan. 29. Unconditional bail was set at $100,000 and conditional bail was set at $60,000.

Munoz-Guerrero faces the same five charges as Guerrero. Conditional release was allowed on her personal recognizance.

Willert was charged with a fifth-degree controlled substance possession crime.

Unconditional bail was set at $20,000 and conditional bail was set at $10,000.
