Three overall marks fall at Green Lake Triathlon
Three of four overall records fell at the 2011 Green Lake Triathlon at Spicer on Sunday.
At the new Olympic distance, which is just in its second year, Marcus Stromberg, 34, of Buffalo broke the existing one-year-old record by over 13 minutes with his time of 2:01.14. The Olympic women's standard was reset by Jessica Rossing, 26, of Duluth in 2:16.54, nearly a four-minute cut.
The women's Sprint standard is now 1:06.40 set by Suzie Olsen, 41, of Blue Earth, which took 2:31 off the old mark.
