Three Warrior volleyball players MCAC-South stars

Ridgewater College had three players named MCAC-South Athletes of the Week in volleyball.

Kelsey Stommes, a returning All-America from Cold Spring, is Co-Hitter of the Week. She had 25 kills while hitting .339 in 56 attempts, plus 6 ace blocks.

Tiffani Karbo, a freshman from Balaton, is Setter of the Week. She dealt 91 set assists (11.38 per game) in two wins, plus 46-47 serve with 5 aces.

Alex Horton, freshman from Maple Grove, named All-Around Player of the Week. She posted 32 kills, including 20 in 3-1 win over Anoka-Ramsey. She also had 25 digs and 3 ace serves.

Ridge (11-0, 18-5) clinched the Southern Division title the past week.
