Tim Feldman March 30, 1928 - Dec. 16, 2008
RENVILLE -- Tim Feldman, 80, of Renville, died Tuesday at the Chippewa County Hospital in Montevideo.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Renville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Renville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville and one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born March 30, 1928, on the family farm north of Renville to Rieke and Fannie (Schweertman) Feldman. He grew up on the family farm and attended country school. He served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.
He married Janice Lee on Nov. 3, 1972, in Echo. They later divorced. He worked at the Renville Farmers Elevator for many years, retiring in 1990.
He married Delores Johnson on Sept. 17, 1994, in Renville. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Renville American Legion.
Survivors include his daughters: Vicki (and Bill) Feldman of Sartell, Susan (and Skip) Fjerstad of Atwater; two grandchildren; his stepchildren: Curt (and Diane) Johnson of Granite Falls, Sandy (and Paul) Brecke of Eagen, Jay (and Laurie) Johnson of Apple Valley, Ron (and Melissa) Johnson of New London, Bob (and Cella) Johnson of Sacred Heart, and Trudy (and Allan) Swanson of San Francisco; 11 stepgrandchildren; and his brother: John (and Donna) Feldman of Renville.
He was preceded in death by his wife and seven siblings.
