SACRED HEART - Timothy Marvin Caspers departed this life and entered the kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, May 19, 2013. He passed away at his home in Sacred Heart, Minnesota.

Tim was born on May 12, 1961, in Willmar, Minnesota at Rice Memorial Hospital to Marvin and Joan (Benedict) Caspers. He spent his youth on the family farm north of Clara City. He graduated from Clara City High School in 1979. Tim was baptized and made his affirmation of faith at Bethany Reformed Church.

Tim attended vocational school in Willmar, Minnesota in which he studied the trade of welding. He spent over thirty years working in the construction industry and was an active member in the Pipefitters Local Union 455.

Hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson were staples of Tim's pastime. Whether it was pursuing Mallards in the marshes, coaxing Walleyes into devouring a Spinner Rig, relentlessly tracking pheasants in the Goldenrod, or setting his sights on monster bucks in the north woods of Minnesota, Tim longed for the contentment the land was willing to offer with each new adventure into the wild.

Tim always left a lasting impression with whomever he came into contact with and touched the lives of many. He is survived by his sons Travis (and Megan) Caspers of Alexandria; Tyler (and special friend Ashly) Caspers of Echo; two grandchildren which he adored, Cooper and Chloe; parents Marvin and Joan Caspers of Clara City; siblings, Kasey Austin of Ogilvie; Barbara (and Rolf) Koppenrud of Fargo; Vicky (and Gary) Terwisscha of Clara City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 24, at 2:00pm at the Clara City Community Center celebrating Tim's life. Memorials in care of the Caspers Family P.O Box 404, Clara City, MN 56222.
