Tolifson joins board of American Coalition for Ethanol
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Dale Tolifson has joined the American Coalition for Ethanol board of directors as a representative of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.
Tolifson and his wife, Sandy, farm near Benson. He serves on the board of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association and now as vice chairman of Chippewa Valley Ethanol Co. after 13 years as its chairman. He is also a member of the National Corn Growers Association's Ethanol Committee.
Brian Jennings, executive vice president of the American Coalition for Ethanol, said Tolifson understands ethanol from the perspectives of a farmer and an ethanol producer, and "his leadership will be invaluable as ACE takes on ethanol's critics with the facts about the efficiency of ag and ethanol production, the industry's ability to create American jobs, and the need for more renewable choices at the pump."
The American Coalition for Ethanol is the nation's largest ethanol advocacy association representing ethanol producers, farmers, rural electric co-ops, and agriculture groups across the country, many in Minnesota.
