Tornado warning until 6:15 p.m. for parts of McLeod and Sibley counties

A tornado warning remains in effect for south central McLeod and north central Sibley counties until 6:15 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities.

At 5:43 p.m., NWS radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous storm was located near Brownton, or 12 miles north of Gaylord, moving north at 50 mph.
