Touching Hearts names Van Buren head of marketing
NEW LONDON -- Touching Hearts at Home announces Deb Van Buren has been named marketing director. Van Buren will promote the company's in-home senior care and companionship services that help families maintain the safety and independence of loved ones in their own home.
Van Buren brings years of experience in marketing, community relations and organizational management in working for the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce from 1992 to 2001 and as marketing director for North American State Bank from 2001 to 2010.
Van Buren is active in marketing and promotions as a volunteer for the Willmar Stingers, Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA, Willmar Area Arts Council, and Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Commission.
She received her bachelor's degree in mass communications from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.
Van Buren and her husband Scott live on Eagle Lake just north of Willmar.
Touching Hearts at Home is a locally owned business that delivers caregiving, companionship and homemaking services into the homes of area seniors and people with disabilities.
Touching Hearts at Home has its office in New London and serves clients in Kandiyohi, Meeker, Stearns, Renville, Swift, Chippewa, McLeod and Pope counties.
