Track and Field: B/KMS athletes ready for today's 3AA meet

Several Benson/KMS girls track and field athletes will be among the favorites at today's Section 3AA championships, beginning at 2 p.m., in Pipestone.

Benson/KMS's Emma Peterson enters the meet with the second-best time in the 300 hurdles, Emily Tostenson is No. 2 in the 400 meters and Bethany Rosemeier is No. 3 in the 400. Samantha Goff is No. 2 in the 800 meters, and Benson/KMS has two relay teams ranked among the top three.

The Braves' 4x400 team of Rosemeier, Goff, Peterson and either Emily Tostenson or Natalie Mikkelson enter the meet ranked No. 2. Benson/KMS's 4x800 team of Rosemeier, Goff, Peterson and Jessica Goff are ranked No. 3.
