Train cars derail southwest of Clara City, Minn., BNSF cleaning up

CLARA CITY -- BNSF Railway officials are cleaning up the scene of a train car derailment that happened Thursday southwest of Clara City.

According to the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office, deputies and Clara City Police officers responded to a call of a possible train derailment at 100th Avenue Southeast and State Highway 7. They arrived to find that five train cars had become derailed. None of the train cars that derailed contained any hazardous materials and no one was injured.
