Trott Avenue East closure extends through Saturday

WILLMAR -- The city of Willmar and CenterPoint Energy are extending through Saturday the closure of Trott Avenue East between 16th Street and Lakeland Drive for utility improvements.

City and CenterPoint officials had anticipated work on the improvements, which began Wednesday, would be completed by Thursday.

Traffic is not allowed through the construction zone. Motorists will need to find alternate routes and are advised to slow down for their safety and the safety of the workers.
