Trott Avenue Southwest, 11th Street Southwest to open at 6 p.m. today

WILLMAR -- Willmar City officials say Trott Avenue Southwest from 10th Street Southwest to 16th Street Southwest and 11th Street Southwest from Trott Avenue to Trunk Highway 12 will be open to traffic at 6 p.m. today.

The city said work on both roadways is completed for the 2009 construction season. The streets were rebuilt following construction of gravity sewer pipes as part of the wastewater treatment and conveyance project.

The prime contractor for the street project is Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg. Duininck and the city thanked the public for their patience and consideration during the project.
