According to multiple reports, the Minnesota Twins have reached a multi-year agreement with free agent outfielder Josh Willingham.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal broke the news on Twitter and was the first to report the agreement.

Joe Christensen of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported on Twitter that the deal would be for three years and $21 million.

Willingham, 32, is coming off a season with Oakland where he hit a career-high 29 home runs and drove in 98 runs.

He is a career .262 hitter, with a career on-base percentage of .361 and a slugging percentage of .475 in eight seasons with Florida, Washington and Oakland.

The deal could mean that the Twins will not re-sign free agent outfielder Michael Cuddyer and instead collect the two compensation draft picks from his departure.
