Two drivers treated, released after Bird Island, Minn., crash

BIRD ISLAND -- The drivers of two vehicles involved in a motor vehicle crash around 5:35 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of County Road 4 and 410th Street were treated and released from Renville County Hospital.

According to a news release from the Renville County Sheriff's office, deputies determined that a 2008 Mercury driven by Pamela Olson, of rural Bird Island, was southbound on 410th Street and a 2002 Honda driven by Taylor Jon Anderson, of rural Fairfax, collided at the intersection four miles southeast of Bird Island.

Also responding to the crash were the Bird Island Police Department, Bird Island First Responders, Minnesota State Patrol, and the Hector Ambulance.

The crash is under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
