Two drivers treated, released after crash at LqP Valley High School

MADISON -- Two drivers were treated for minor injuries and released from Dawson Hospital after a crash around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday along State Highway 40 in front of Lac qui Parle Valley High School.

According to the State Patrol, Elizabeth A. Olson, 58, of Dawson, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer and Danielle M. Brehmer, 16, of Bellingham, was driving a 2003 Pontiac Montana. The vehicles collided after Brehmer pulled out in front of Olson, the patrol said.

Olson was treated for bruises and Brehmer for cuts and back pain. Both were wearing their seatbelts and the airbags deployed in both vehicles.
