Officers with the Montevideo, Dawson, Clarkfield/Boyd, and Upper Sioux Tribal police departments executed the search warrants in Montevideo, reported Police Chief Adam Christopher of Montevideo.

The warrants were based on information the Montevideo and Dawson police departments had obtained regarding recent garage burglaries.

Many tools that have been confirmed stolen have been recovered from burglaries in Montevideo, Boyd, Dawson, Madison, Chippewa County and Watertown, S.D.

Picard was arraigned Monday on charges of burglary, second-degree building with possession of burglary tools and for felony theft.
