Two seriously hurt in crash north of Glenwood, Minn.

GLENWOOD – Two people sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash around 8:20 p.m. Sunday north Glenwood in Pope County.

According to the State Patrol, Kimberlie Blair, 41, of Glenwood, was a passenger in a 2004 Ford pickup driven by Hayley Blair, 19, of Glenwood. The pickup was southbound on State Highway 29 when the driver lost control and collided with a northbound 2012 Chevy Equinox driven by Richard P. Ostendorf, 57, of Pemberton.

Kimberlie Blair and Ostendorf were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Hayley Blair and another passenger, Tait Blair, 41, of Glenwood, were treated for minor injuries at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.

Roads were in icy condition at the time of the accident, which happened about four miles north of Glenwood.

Also responding were the Pope County Sheriff’s Office, Glenwood police and fire departments, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Glacial Ridge Ambulance and North Memorial Ambulance.
