U of M works on public safety
MINNEAPOLIS -- University of Minnesota officials say they are instituting several initiatives to promote safety on and near the Twin Cities campus.
A number of recent crimes, especially dealing with smartphone and computer thefts, prompted the actions.
“We are implementing a wide-ranging approach that addresses immediate concerns and begins necessary, long-term security enhancements to the Twin Cities campus,” University President Eric Kaler said.
