WILLMAR -- Many analog television viewers in the Willmar area lost their reception for three channels during Friday's digital transition, though it was through no lack of preparation on their part.

UHF Television Inc., which rebroadcasts most of the analog television that people view in the Willmar area, had some problems receiving the now-digital signals from the PBS, NBC and FOX network affiliates. This caused signals to go blank for those stations throughout the area.

UHF Television Inc. representative Melissa Geer said that technicians were working on the problem and that the stations should be back on air for viewers within "a day or two."
