UMinn poised to ban smoking across campus
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The University of Minnesota is ready to impose a smoking ban at its Twin Cities campus.
The University Senate has voted in favor of the ban. The Senate includes faculty, students and staff. University President Eric Kaler says a tobacco-free campus has become an expectation, rather than an innovation.
