Police say the suspected shooter is still on the loose.

Police Inspector Todd Milburn didn't respond to calls from The Associated Press. But he tells the Star Tribune that three people were found shot to death inside the home. The shooting happened about 6:30 a.m. Monday. Later Monday, police tape surrounded the home, a modest gray split-level.

The nearby Hennepin Technical College was locked down as a precaution.
