ST. PAUL - The top-ranked and No. 1-seeded Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons won their second-round Class A state tournament match 38-25 over the defending state champion Jackson County Central Thursday afternoon at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Falcons (25-1) resume action at 7 p.m. tonight against Chatfield (26-1) in the Class A championship match.

The third-place match pits Jackson County Central (23-4) against Frazee (19-2) at 5 p.m.
