Update: Bomb threat prompts evacuation of Luverne school

LUVERNE - Students were escorted to a church on U.S. 75 after the Luverne school building was evacuated Friday morning, following an undisclosed armed threat against the students.

The school district sent out an automated message informing parents about the threat and its immediate consequences, and the Rock County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the school has been evacuated.


Update 11:25 a.m.

LUVERNE - The school in Luverne is now being evacuated after a bomb threat was received, the Rock County Sheriff's Office confirmed at 11:25 a.m. today.
