UPDATE: Clara City, Minn., man was pilot of crashed ultra-light plane

BUNDE -- The Chippewa County Sheriff's office has released the name of the pilot of an ultra-light aircraft that crash Saturday afternoon near Bunde.

The pilot was Boyd Folkerts, who was taken to Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

According to the Sheriff's office, dispatch received a 911 call around 3:45 p.m. Saturday that a small aircraft had landed about a half mile north of State Highway 7 and County Road 1. The pilot had attempted to land the plane after the engine lost power. Upon impact with the ground, the aircraft flipped onto its top.

The Clara City ambulance, police and fire departments, along with the Minnesota Duty Officer and the Federal Aviation Administration, also responded to the crash.
