Update: Drivers hurt in crash southeast of Madison

MADISON - The drivers' names have been released in a Tuesday afternoon crash in Lac qui Parle County.

According to a release from the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's Office. a 1994 Chrysler driven by Bruce Baker, 57, of Dawson was westbound on 230th Street when he failed to stop and yield to another vehicle. His vehicle collided with a 2007 Chevrolet driven by John Fulton, 48, of Madison, which was traveling south on County Road 25.

MADISON -- The cause of a two-vehicle injury crash around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday southeast of Madison is under investigation by the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's Office.

According to a news release from Sheriff Rick Halvorson, the crash happened at the intersection of 230th Street and County Road 25. Both drivers were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

The names of the drivers had not been released by the sheriff's office.

Also responding were the Madison ambulance, police and fire departments, Dawson Ambulance and the State Patrol.
