Update: Girls Basketball - Willmar girls game on, MACCRAY, BOLD-YME postponed

Willmar's Section 2AAA quarterfinals game at Marshall is still on.

However, at Montevideo in Section 3AA North, the evening's second game between Yellow Medicine East and BOLD has been postponed until Friday.

Canby vs. MACCRAY in Section 3A North has also been postponed until Friday.

The Section 3AA early game is being played and Section 3A and Section 2AA girls playoff games also will be played tonight, despite impending weather problems.

But five of six boys basketball games involving West Central-area teams have been postponed.

The Litchfield boys game at Melrose is scheduled for 4 p.m. today.

Here's the status of tonight's scheduled girls games:

* The Willmar girls play their 2AAA game at 7 p.m. at Marshall

* The Yellow Medicine East girls vs. BOLD has been postponed until Friday in the 3AA-North semifinals in Montevideo. In the other semifinals game, Lake Crystal-Wellcome plays Redwood Valley at 6 p.m.

* In Section 3A-North at Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall, Dawson-Boyd plays Minneota at 6 p.m. Canby vs. MACCRAY has been postponed until 7:30 p.m. Friday in semifinals games.

* In Section 2A-North, Cedar Mountain/Comfrey plays at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at 7 p.m., and Sleepy Eye-St. Mary's plays at ACGC in Grove City at 7 p.m.

Here's the status of tonight's scheduled boys games:

* In the Central Minnesota Conference, BBE's game at Pierz was postponed until Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

* In the Pheasant Conference, Hancock's game at Wheaton/Herman-Norcross was postponed until Friday. The Owls' regularly scheduled game against Brandon-Evansville on Friday has been cancelled.

* Two West Central South Conference games have been postponed: Benson will play Lac qui Parle Valley on Thursday, and Morris/Chokio-Alberta's game at BOLD has been postponed to Thursday.

* KMS's game at Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley has been cancelled.
