UPDATE: Kerkhoven man killed in Highway 40 crash west of Willmar

WILLMAR -- The driver killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday west of Willmar is Adam J. Robledo, 26, of Kerkhoven.

According to the State Patrol, Robledo was taken to Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital after the crash, around 11 p.m. on State Highway 40, about three miles west of the Kandiyohi County line in Chippewa County.

A passenger in the vehicle, David Medellin, 37, of Montevideo, was treated for minor injuries at Rice Memorial Hospital.

Both men were wearing their seatbelts, according to the Patrol. The type of vehicle involved in the crash was not included in the crash report.

The Willmar Police Department and the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
