UPDATE: State Patrol updates info on Vesta, Minn., fatal, Marshall man hurt in crash

VESTA -- A 28-year-old Marshall man was taken to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. for treatment of injuries sustained in a fatal, head-on motor vehicle crash around 11 a.m. this morning along State Highway 19 west of Vesta.

According to the State Patrol, Michael V. Million was driving a 2011 Chevy 2011 Chevy Equinox that was eastbound on the highway and collided with a westbound 1995 Ford Escort.

The name of the other driver has not been released by the Patrol.

Also responding to the crash were the Redwood and Renville county sheriff's offices.
