Updated: Blizzard warning issue for parts of southwest Minn., MnDOT advises no unnecessary travel
WILLMAR, Minn.— The Minnesota Department of Transportation's Willmar office advises no unnecessary travel in counties with blizzard conditions, with blowing snow and reduced visibility, in parts of southwest Minnesota, including the counties of Lincoln, Lyon, Pipestone and Murray.
The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning until 3 p.m. today for parts of southwest Minnesota, including the counties of Lyon, Murray, Cottonwood, Nobles, Jackson and Pipestone.
