Willmar's Travis Deegan wrestles St. Michael-Albertville's Talon Juusola in the 145-pound match in the quarterfinals of the Class AAA state team wrestling meet at the Xcel Center in St. Paul. Deegan won with a 5-3 decision.

ST. PAUL - The Willmar Cardinals (14-10) got the feel this morning of the best of the State Tournament arena in the opening round losing top seeded St. Michael-Albertville (31-1)

 53-9.

The No. 1-ranked team in Class AAA won 12 of 14 matches.

Travis Deegan at 145 won a 5-3 decision and Colten Carlson at 152 pounds via a pin picked up the points for Willmar
