U.S. Highway 59 shoulder widening project near Clarkfield, Minn., resumes this week
WILLMAR -- Motorists may encounter temporary lane closures this week on U.S. Highway 59 south of Clarkfield as crews resume a shoulder widening and culvert lining project that began last year, according to a news release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work will be complete in approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
The portion of this project to complete is a half-mile stretch near Spring Creek. Work was suspended last fall due to high water conditions. The entire project extends from Clarkfield to 4.5 miles south of Lyon County Road 3.
