Vandals shoot out vehicle windows in Montevideo

MONTEVIDEO -- Montevideo police officers are seeking the public's help in apprehending suspects responsible for using a pellet gun to shoot out rear and side windows Saturday night on at least two dozen vehicles in Montevideo.

Police began receiving reports early Sunday morning of the vandalism, according to Police Chief Adam Christopher. He said it is possible that damage to more cars could still be reported.

The damage was random throughout the community. The chief said there were also reports of three vehicles in Granite Falls and Wood Lake having had their windows shot by pellets on Saturday night.
