Vikings' Peterson will not require surgery
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will not have surgery on his sprained right foot after an initial round of tests showed no Lisfranc injury.
Brian Murphy of the Pioneer Press reported Tuesday that Peterson’s playing status will be determined if and when he gets out of walking boot. A team official confirmed that the results of further testing on Monday indicated that Peterson will not need to have surgery to repair the injury.
