Vikings re-sign Jimmy Kennedy

Jimmy Kennedy has re-signed with Minnesota, providing the Vikings with insurance at defensive tackle.

Kennedy's one-year contract was announced Wednesday.

The Vikings first signed Kennedy after starters Kevin Williams and Pat Williams were initially suspended for four games in early December due to a controversial diuretic pill.
