Virgil M. Miller Feb. 23, 1915 - Nov. 19, 2008
PAYNESVILLE -- Virgil M. Miller, 93, of Paynesville, died Wednesday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville.
The services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville. Burial will be in the Paynesville Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements with Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville.
He was born Feb. 23, 1915, near Paynesville to Herman and Mary (Stanger) Miller. He grew up on a farm near Paynesville.
He married Edrie Wysong on Sept. 8, 1936 in Howard Lake. He worked at Fullerton Lumberyard in Paynesville and also as a trucker for Raymond Brothers Truckline delivering to Minnesota and Wisconsin. He worked as a funeral assistant since the 1940s at Dunton Funeral Home, Anderson Mortuary and Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2007, two brothers and two sisters.
