Vivian C. Taylor March 23, 1918 - Oct. 9, 2008
SACRED HEART -- Vivian Clarisse Taylor, 90, of Sacred Heart, died Oct. 9 at the RenVilla Nursing Home, Renville.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart with burial at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Sacred Heart.
She was born March 23, 1918, at Ericson Township, Renville County, to Hans and Evelyn (Moss) Rolie. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School.
She married Verlin Taylor on Dec. 25, 1941. They moved to California on Jan. 7, 1942, and lived there for 18 years while employed in aircraft work. They moved back to Sacred Heart in 1960. She worked at VSC in Clara City for a number of years and then at Warner Manufacturing in Sacred Heart until she retired.
She is survived by two nieces: Connie (and Jim) Smithrud of Northbend, Wash., Donna (Don) Vantine of Garfield, Wash.; and one grandniece: Mary Ann Hagen of Clara City.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
