Willmar dog park anniversary celebration cancelled due to high number of mosquitoes

RICHFIELD -- Vivian Dorothy Tinseth, 89, of Edina died Monday at Walker Methodist Health Center in Minneapolis.

The service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Lutheran Church in Richfield. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Morris Nilsen Chapel of Richfield is handling arrangements.

She was born June 9, 1919, to Axel and Nora Felt and grew up on a farm near Itasca State Park.

She married Ernest Tinseth in 1941 and they lived in Cyrus, Willmar and Edina.

She is survived by daughters: Karen (and Mike) Nord, Phyllis (and Joon) Chi and Kathleen (and Bruce) Jackson; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers: Lloyd, Norris, Mervin and Orville Felt;

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998 and one grandson.
