The event is for those considering starting college this fall but have not yet registered.

Participants will be guided through the admissions process and how to apply for financial aid.

"It is a great opportunity for individuals who understand the tremendous value a college education provides, but may be intimidated, or overwhelmed by the process, or just aren't sure what they want to do," said Sam Bowen, Ridgewater College's director of communication and marketing, in a news release Monday.

Many programs still have seats available.

As an incentive, Ridgewater will issue certificates good toward $20 at the campus bookstore for anyone who completes an application during the event.

For more information, call Bowen at 320-222-6090.
