Watkins, Minn., man arrested for stolen vehicle, owner finds vehicle at trailer park

WATKINS — A 26-year-old Watkins man is in the Meeker County Jail pending his first court appearance on felony motor vehicle theft charges after allegedly stealing a vehicle in Watkins.

According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, county dispatch received a report of a stolen vehicle around 12:50 a.m. Sunday along Meeker Avenue North in Watkins.

The caller reported his vehicle was stolen and that he’d found the 1993 Mazda stuck in a snow bank in the Watkins Trailer Park.

The man arrested, Bradley Hamilton, was found in the driver’s side of the vehicle. He also faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.

The Eden Valley Police Department also assisted at the scene.
