WCER now offering Korean Karate course

Willmar Community Education and Recreation is offering Korean Karate classes on Monday beginning Sept. 21 and running through Nov. 23 at the Kennedy small gym.

Jen Thorpe, a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, will be the instructor.

The entry fee is $35 per participant.

Classes for beginners (7-15 years old) will be from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Those with orange, green and gold belts will be from 6:15-7 p.m. and those with blue belts or higher will be from 7-7:45 p.m.
