Weather Channel reporter: 'Those were the worst conditions I've ever set up in,' during Fargo visit Thursday
FARGO – A crew from The Weather Channel spent Thursday in and around Fargo capturing footage of the ground blizzard that created whiteout conditions in some spots.
Correspondent Mike Seidel, known for his reports on extreme weather, and a two-man crew broadcast live throughout the day, said crew member Mike Sulzberger.
Early that morning, as the crew was preparing to record a shot, a gust of more than 50 mph blew through, kicking up snow.
“Those were the worst conditions I've ever set up in,” said Sulzberger of Iowa, who’s covered weather events for 28 years.
