Weather moving across Swift County, hail reported southeast of Milan, Minn.

BENSON -- The National Weather Service radar is tracking strong thunderstorms along a line from three miles southeast of Appleton to seven miles southeast of Danvers to four miles east of DeGraff.

The Weather Service says these storms are moving northeast at 30 mph. Hail up to nickel size and winds up to 30 mph are expected. Towns in the storm path are Benson, Murdock, De Graff, Danvers and Sunburg.

Forecasters say these storms could intensify quickly, so citizens should be ready to act if a warning is issued.

The Weather Service has received a report from a trained spotter of 0.88-inch hail east-southeast of Milan in Chippewa County.
