Lac qui Parle Mission open house, 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. There will be a volunteer on hand to answer questions about the site. The site is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Labor Day and is located 6 miles north of Montevideo on U.S. Highway 59 and 2.2 miles west on Chippewa County Road 13.
Prairie Woods ELC

Sibley State Park

Sibley State park programs are on the weekends at the Interpretive Center and are led by the park naturalist or visiting expert. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park and they are available at the park office. For more information call 320-354-2002.
Bird watching walk: 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday; a naturalist leads a walk to various habitats to observe birds; binoculars and a bird book are recommended and some will be available for use.
Awesome Amphibians: 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; Sibley State Park is a haven for 10 of the 19 species of amphibians found in Minnesota.
Disc Golf course
Open during park hours, park in main lot, 9-hole starts where one-way road begins; Robbins Island, North Business Highway 71, Willmar.
Grind Central Skate Park
Open during daylight hours, behind the Washington Learning Center building; 325 Willmar Ave. S.W., Willmar
