Wertish -- Heiser
Carolyn Wertish and Matthew Heiser, both of Oklahoma City, Okla., are engaged to be married June 4 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bird Island.
Wertish is the daughter of David and Kimberly Wertish of Olivia.
She is a 2005 graduate of BOLD High School in Olivia and a 2009 graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul in computer science. She is a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, and training as an air battle manager.
Heiser is the son of Jeffrey and Lisa Heiser of Aberdeen, S.D.
He is a 2004 graduate of Aberdeen Central High School and a 2008 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings in microbiology and biology. He is employed by Bio-Cide International in Oklahoma City as a microbiologist.
