West central Minnesota townships hold annual elections, meetings

Townships held elections and conducted annual meetings Tuesday across the state. Residents met with their township supervisors to set levies and approve road and bridge funds.
The following includes the results of several Kandiyohi County townships that reported the results of their meetings to the West Central Tribune. Additional township reports can be sent today to news@wctrib.com to be published in later editions.
Fahlun Township
Fahlun Township residents re-elected Greg Olson as supervisor. Linda Bjornberg was re-elected as treasurer.
Each individual received nine votes.
The levy was set at $35,000 and the road and bridge fund at $60,000.
Gennessee Township
Gennessee Township residents re-elected Paul Hedberg to a three-year term as supervisor and Kathleen Wallace to a two-year term as treasurer.
The 2014 levy was set at $90,000.
Irving Township
Irving Township voters re-elected Harlow Olson as supervisor with 22 votes and re-elected Steve DeGreeff as treasurer with 21 votes.
The total levy of $250,000 stayed the same as last year.
The general fund levy is $50,000, the road and bridge fund is $180,000 and the fire fund is $20,000.
Willmar Township
In Willmar Township, residents re-elected Donovon Monson as supervisor and re-elected Pam Thorpe as treasurer.
The budget was set at $140,000.
