The West Central Tribune launched a new redesigned Web site today at wctrib.com.
The new Web site, still at our regular wctrib.com URL, will include a wider format, an improved site search, additional homepage headlines and more daily updates.
"Our Web site redesign will feature more of everything -- content, features, tags and depth," said Kelly Boldan, editor of the West Central Tribune.
Another Web site addition is an improved search engine featuring keywords or tag words. These tags will help readers locate the content of interest -- stories and advertising. Each story will feature its story tags at the bottom of the content to help readers identify searchable terms.
When the new site is launched, users will need to log in again. Those users who remember their logon and password can simply use them to log on.
If users have forgotten their password, they can visit wctrib.com, click "Login," enter an e-mail address in the "lost your password" area and then click on "reset my password." The site will then send a temporary password to the e-mail address listed. That password can be used to log onto the site. The password will then need to be updated.
The Tribune would like to hear from readers concerning the Web site redesign.
